Account Manager, Regional Sales

Manages regional and/or target customer accounts primarily for the purpose of building and maintaining an ongoing business relationship that is mutually beneficial to both the customer and the company.

Account Manager Primary Duties:

  • Travel to customer sites, build good business relationship, promote products and services.
  • Solicit business opportunities including making cold calls
  • Review customer specifications to determine whether certain business opportunities are within our capabilities.
  • Create proposals and quotations for products, and services according to pricing policies.
  • Identify market potential and potential sales within an assigned region or market.
  • Prospect potential customer base to build awareness of Company’s offers and build opportunity.
  • Participate in commercial and promotional activities including, attending trade shows and conventions, making presentations to customers, developing commercial material to promote the Company.
  • Lead the effort to resolve commercial disputes within assigned customer base.
  • Provide commercial support and facilitate technical and project support to customers.
  • Assist as necessary in the process of resolving payment disputes with customers.
  • Provide regular reports to Company management regarding commercial contacts and market conditions.
  • You will be expected to travel up to 50% of the work week by aircraft or automobile to customer sites. You will work in an office setting or remote locations as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in a technical discipline.
  • Knowledge of electrical environments, and past sales of electrical products or services with a proven track record.

Field Service Technician - Oklahoma City, OK

Candidate must possess a basic understanding of electric motor (AC and DC) operation and the associated controls. Technician will perform installation, alignment, and balancing of rotating equipment in a site specific field location with supervision.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Basic proficiency performing installation, alignment and balancing of rotating equipment.
  • Proficient use of micrometers and calipers to measure critical machine fits.
  • Understand sleeve bearing and ball bearing operation
  • Ability to teardown, clean, and assemble mechanical apparatus and components with supervision
  • Install new or modified equipment at customer’s facility to insure full functionality according to specifications with supervision.
  • Knowledge of and capable to assist with basic repairs, testing, and troubleshooting of electric motors with supervision.
  • Conduct safe operations of the equipment and demonstrates skills to trainees, including both team members and customers with supervision.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), minimum of 2 years direct hands on related experience in repairing and maintaining electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

DOT & Safety Sensitive position. Must be able to pass DOT drug screen, physical and nationwide BG with a good driving record.

Account Manager, Substation & Switchgear

This position will manage regional and/or target customer accounts primarily for the purpose of building and maintaining an on-going business relationship that is mutually beneficial to the customer and to our Company in the Tennessee region and grow our market share in the region. Selling Substation, MV Switchgear, Transformer and AC/DC Motor products and services. Job requires 80% travel.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of Service Sales experience
  • Electrical Industry experience (highly desired) MV Switchgear and/or Substation
  • Ability to pass a nationwide background check, drug screen and clean driving record.

Training Manager - Nashville, TN

The ideal candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of substation/switchgear electrical apparatus and subsystems. Knowledge of and capable of repairing, testing and/or oil processing. Needs to be fully trained in all electrical safety aspects and must be capable of leading teams to accomplish complex tasks and develops plans, coordinates and directs the staff development and training program for the Field Services and Manufacturing personnel of the organization in coordination with Operations Managers and the goals of the Company.  The role requires frequent overnight travel to other locations as needed or required to coordinate and execute training for personnel at the various Company offices.

Education and Experience:

  • AA degree from a technical school or BS degree from an accredited University or 10 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Military experience is a plus
  • Electrical theory education and/or related experience is a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years operational experience in a field service environment or as a team crew leader
  • Must demonstrate safe and sound troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to pass a nationwide background check and drug screen.

Sr. Substation Technician - Tulsa, OK or Nashville, TN

Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform all aspects of substation services (repair, processing & testing) and demonstrate an exceptional understanding of transformers, construction operation and the associated controls.
  • Ability to perform in shop and field transformer testing for Power Factor, Excitation and resistance readings per NETA/ANSI Standards and maintain operational mechanical systems including pump operations, valve operations and oil processing units.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Troubleshoot and test transformers using various methods and testing equipment including partial installation of transformer components.
  • Verify repairs using various start-up testing procedures.
  • Conduct acceptance testing and preventative maintenance in accordance with the published testing procedures.
  • Operate specialized test equipment including but not limited to: Power Factor Tester (DOBLE), Megohmmeters, AC/DC volt-ohm-millimeters, various kinds of hand-held power and non-power tools, etc.
  • Ability to make electrical measurements, mechanical adjustments, assemble and disassemble parts/equipment correctly.
  • Read and understand instruction manuals.
  • Maintain a professional attitude when representing the company during phone or personal contact with outside vendors, customers or service providers etc.
  • Observe all safety procedures and use proper protective gear.
  • Complete required paperwork for each job accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Perform other skilled or non-skilled duties as directed by supervisor.
  • Must be willing and able to travel on overnight, multi-day, out of town jobs.
  • Must be willing and able to work regular overtime including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Sr. Protective Relay & Controls Technician - Nashville, TN

Summary:

  • Conduct commissioning, testing, maintenance and repair of complex protective relaying schemes, metering remote control and data systems and capacitor control in generation, transmission and distribution substation environments. To facilitate the retrofit, upgrade, and replacement projects for electrical controls, SCADA, DCS and Power System Protection Equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Testing of Electro-mechanical, Numerical and Microprocessor based Protective Relays and control devices.
  • Perform installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance of protective relaying equipment, relaying schemes, DFR equipment, SCADA systems, distribution automation systems and associated communication equipment
  • Test over current/voltage, Directional, Distance, Impedance, Sync Check, Loss of field, reverse power, Multifunction relays etc.
  • Perform function testing of substation control circuits on relay panel, transformers & circuit breaker change outs.
  • Conduct differential and distance relay testing.
  • Assist in developing written standard commissioning, testing and maintenance procedures for protective relaying, DFR’s, RTU’s, IED’s, Distribution Automation and associated communication systems.
  • Interpreting customer and sales submitted technical documents, quotations, and service requests and applying that data directly to the quoted task at hand.
  • Communicating technical information clearly and concisely to management and customers.
  • Travel to job locations, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and properly applying pertinent technical and safety standards to the assigned work. i.e. (IEEE, NETA, NEMA, NEC).
  • Creating test reports and summaries of work completed.
  • Assist in training service technicians in basic protective relay and control systems.
  • Must be willing and able to travel on overnight, multi-day, out of town jobs.
  • Must be willing and able to work regular overtime including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED
  • Trade/Tech school with 10 years of proven OTJ experience in Power Systems Protection and Controls.
  • Or: Equivalent Military training plus proven OTJ experience in Power Systems Protection and Controls.
  • Or: University/College 2-4 year Engineering Technology plus related Power System Protection experience.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen, and physical.

Switchgear Technician - Tulsa, OK or Nashville, TN

Qualifications:

  • Candidate MUST have a minimum of three years’ of experience working directly as a Switchgear Technician.
  • Must have knowledge of breakers and other switchgear apparatus.
  • Must have testing skills and understand testing procedures and equipment.
  • Must demonstrate troubleshooting skills using basic test equipment and electrical schematics.
  • Capable of performing perform diagnostic testing and analysis.
  • Capable of working without supervision.
  • Capable of leading and /or training junior employees.

Account Manager, Motors - Oklahoma City

Looking for an experienced Outside Service Sales Representative to expand our electric motor repair line and services. The ideal candidate should be a true road warrior and be responsible for marketing, promoting and profitably selling AC/DC motor products and services to existing and potential customers in the Oklahoma City and surrounding areas. Must have good technical knowledge of large industrial electric motors.

Responsibilities:

  • Makes personal sales calls at customer sites on a regular basis. Establishes and maintains customer relationships in order to grow profitable sales.
  • AC/DC electric motor service sales via prospecting past and new customers
  • Manage existing book of clients
  • Support marketing activity and other sales initiatives
  • Cross sell other companies offerings such as transformer and switchgear line up and services

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of medium voltage variable drives and past sales of electrical products or services with a proven track record of success
  • Ability to travel 80% of the time
  • 3+ years of outside electric motor sales preferred

Operations Manager, Motor Division - Oklahoma City

Looking for an Operations Manager to direct manufacturing activities in an efficient manner and achieve company goals for safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage-direct and implement operations strategies and objectives to insure the achievement of division goals.
  • Plan-prepares, monitor, and forecast direct and/or indirect budgets.
  • Help-employees address and resolve a wide variety of concerns and complaints which typically involve job duties and job descriptions, performance standards, relations with coworkers and supervisors.
  • AC/DC Motor-Must have comprehensive understanding of electric motors and drives to provide technical assistance when needed.
  • Hiring-Determine duties to be performed and recommend the best qualified candidate. This includes assisting in the development of job descriptions and interviewing candidates.
  • Orient & Train– Provide appropriate orientation for new employees. Training is an ongoing activity, crucial for new staff as well as for long-term staff.
  • Assign work-Assign certain duties to employees, explaining how those duties are to be done (i.e. what level of performance will meet the supervisor’s expectations) and communicate how the successful performance of those duties will be measured.
  • Evaluate Performance-Proper attention to performance evaluation during the probationary period and carefully considered decisions as to whether the employee should pass probation can be critical.
  • Reward Performance-Recommend performance awards and/or merit increases when appropriate.
  • Approving Time Records and Requests for Time off-Sign weekly time and attendance records and approve requests for time off.
  • Resolve Complaints-Help employees address and resolve a wide variety of concerns and complaints.
  • Discipline and Dismiss Employees-Address performance problems through corrective action and dismissal.

Education and/or Experience:

  • BBA/BBM degree with an emphasis on business management preferred

Manufacturing Engineer, Transformer Division - Oklahoma City

The Manufacturing Engineer in Oklahoma City develops and improves manufacturing processes by studying transformer and manufacturing methods and provides manufacturing support by coordinating the continuous improvement activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
  • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
  • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished-product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
  • Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
  • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
  • To observe, participate, measure, monitor the processes and practices that are performed each day along with implementation of improvements to the current setting.
  • Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures; requesting special service.
