Account Manager - Substation, Switchgear

Summary
Southwest Electric Co. is looking for an experienced Account Manager to help build out and maintain our Substation, MV Switchgear, Transformer, and AC/DC Motor products and services. The Account Manager will manage regional and/or target customers from the Southeastern, Southern, and South-Central United States to maintain and grow market share. The ideal candidate will be willing to relocate to our Nashville, Tennessee office and join us on our 75th year Anniversary of “Growing Better Together”.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer’s sites to maintain and build Southwest Electric’s Substation, M/V Switchgear, Transformer, and AC/DC Motor offerings and services
- Solicit new business opportunities that fit within our strategic goals and objectives while cross selling our different verticals of business
- Create and maintain relationships with customers to better understand and achieve their needs
- Create proposals and quotations for our products and services according to pricing policies established by Company management
- Manage all reporting about the health of customers’ accounts
Requirements
- 5 years of previous industry Service Sales experience
- Willingness to relocate to Nashville, TN
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 80%
- Previous Substation, MV Switchgear or Transformer experience highly desired
