Southwest Electric Company's Rotating Equipment Service centers offer comprehensive inspection, repair, maintenance, remanufacturing and testing services for motors, generators, pumps, adjustable speed drives, gearboxes, hoists, cranes and other rotating electrical equipment and controls.  Southwest Electric's skilled experienced craftsmen strive to maintain a reputation for quality workmanship, technical excellence, dependable service and timely response that has been our trademark since the company's beginning in 1946.

A resident electrical design engineer based at the Oklahoma City Service Center provides technical support and design/redesign capabilities for all Rotating Equipment Service Centers.  Southwest Electric is one of the few motor/generator repair shops in the Southwest and Plains states with in-house coil winding capabilities. Our form coil department can provide short lead coil availability for both in-shop and on-site rewind requirements.  Local stocks of wire are maintained at each service center to support customer needs for quick response on random wound AC motors and DC armatures.

Shop capabilities include two 20 ton bridge cranes, lathes with capacities up to 50" swing, 125 ton horizontal press, dynamic balancing equipment with the capacity to handle rotors up to 25,000 lbs and 22 ft. in length, an 8 ft. diameter 10 ft. deep 3,000 gallon Vacuum Pressure Impregnation System, and test capabilities to run motors at voltage through 7,000 volts.

Customer service is focused in single-point contacts at each service center with knowledgeable, experienced personnel responding to customer inquiries.  Call us today for your rotating electrical equipment repair and service needs.
